Christmas 2010!

*** Catching up on some blogs since we've been snowed (or rather, iced) in for the past 4 days! Sorry these are so late - better late than never :) ***

Even though it was a quiet Christmas, with just the 4 of us, it was by far, my favorite Christmas yet with the kids!! Bella really "got it" this year and we were able to really focus on all the fun, family traditions! Georgia also gave us a white Christmas - the snow began right at noon and lasted well through the evening!! It's was Georgia's first White Christmas in over 100 years so we definately got a special treat!! The kids got all they asked for and more!

Christmas Eve & putting out "magic dust" and carrots for Santa's reindeer! Notice Bella, looking up to the sky for Santa's sled!

Santa Came!!

Santa's note for the kiddos!

Bella's 1st peek at Christmas!

checking out the note from Santa - so happy!

stocking time!! She opened up all the stockings, except Daddy's! LOL!

Noah's awake & ready for some Christmas fun! So excited about his new Thomas Powerwheels!

Checking out their new personalized piggy banks! Santa even gave them some starter money to put in!!

I think Bella had a smile on her face all day!

With her new Cinderella Castle - she'd been asking Santa for this since she saw it at Disney World in November!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Santa Sighting

Every year, our neighborhood hosts a Breakfast with Santa & Mrs Clause at our clubhouse and although we havent gone in 3 years, we decided to give it a try this year. The past two years we were either out of town when they were here or I was not going to attempt it with a scared Bella but figured she was old enough this year to make her own decision about sitting with the guy in the red suit. The morning wasn't totally ruined as Noah was completely content sitting with them and at first, Bella was shaking like crazy and wouldnt even look at them but we managed to sneak her in a pic with Mr & Mrs Clause as she sat on my lap. Of course, she's giving the look of death but it's okay - maybe next year we'll get a smiley picture of her with Santa. So far we have struck out 3 times in her 3 meetings, haha!! I can tell you one thing - she takes right after her mama in this category!! I can't tell you how many screaming pics my mom has of me with Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc....haha!!

Noah's 1st pic with Santa (bad mommy didnt do it last year)

Fall 2010 Pics

My wonderful & talented friend, Kelly took some pictures for us back in October & I'm just now getting around to sharing them. Partly because I was waiting until the Christmas cards went out because we used 3 of the pics for them! We met at Red Top Mountain in Cartersville - about a 25 min drive north and while it was a bright and sunny day, it was anything but warm. We pushed back our start time to 10am because it was so frigid out and a mere 33 degrees! Quite cold when we were not dressed in our winter gear! But we braved it for that hour & had a lot of fun and are very thankful for Kelly for taking these pics that will last a lifetime!!

our sweet & smiley boy!

kisses for mommy! Poor Bella's legs were soooo cold! I had tights but took them off at the last minute bc they didnt look good with the white boots, haha!

While Andy & I were taking some solo shots, I looked over and Noah had plopped himself down in this position and it turned out to be one of my favorite pics - I love it!
